Only 1,400 miles since a 5 year, body off frame restoration was
completed. Hard to find, original uncut body. Colorado truck all
it's life.
EXTERIOR: Uncut original metal body. It was media blasted and epoxy
primered. Repainted Grabber Blue with white painted lower stripes.
New windshield and chrome trim, replaced wiper arms. New chrome
bumpers, front bumperettes, mirrors, license plate bracket,
tailgate handle and headlight bezels. New gas caps, fuel neck and
clamps. New taillight assemblies, spare tire latch, weatherstrips,
window seals, hardtop mounting kit and seal. New door locks and
actuators, new window roller bushings. Powder coated wheels with
reproduction hubcaps. The removable hard top is in excellent
condition, has sliding window on the passenger side. Also has the
optional swing away rear spare tire kit. There is a crack in the
paint on the tailgate.
INTERIOR: Uncut original dash area, no extra holes cut. New
ignition, wiper, headlight, hazzard and turnsignal switches. New
Centech wiring harness and modern push in fuse block. New stainless
interior hardware kit, glovebox liner, column cover, firewall
insulation, pedal pads and gas pedal. It has the optional hard
board headliner which is in excellent condition, new visors. The
inside of the cab is painted the same Grabber blue color. It has
reproduction molded rubber mat front to back. The seats have been
reupholstered, new armrests front and back. Rear seat frame was
repainted. It has a cool Igloo vintage cooler/console that sits
between the seats. It also has vintage leveling gauge on the dash.
This speedometer and gauge cluster looks pristine.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Rebuilt 302 by Colorado Engines. Restored
Autolite 2 barrel carb. Upgraded with Pertronix ignition. New cap,
rotor, ignition wires, plugs and coil. New fuel pump, oil sender,
washer pump, washer bottle, voltage regulator and motor mounts. All
new hoses, clamps, heater core, overflow bottle, thermostat,
radiator cap and temp sender. New vacuum and fuel lines. New master
cylinder. Replaced battery, cables and hold down kit. Stainless
steel bolt kit. This is one of the best detailed engine
compartments I've seen. The bay is all painted grabber blue. Every
single component down to the nut, bolts and clamps is detailed. The
jack is even restored.
UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame for a thorough restoration.
The frame was powder coated. The entire chassis was restored and
detailed. The uncut original floors were prepped and sprayed with a
durable bedliner. The body was reunited with the chassis using new
bushings. New brake system- lines, wheel cylinders, drums, shoes,
hardware kits, self-adjusting kits, wheel seals, wheel bearings,
E-brake cables, brake line clips, brake hoses, powder coated
backing plates. Bottom of the motor is spotless, new starter cable
and solenoid. Rebuilt manual 3-speed with new clutch, throw out
bearing, pressure plate and backup light switch. Resurfaced
flywheel, new clutch rod bushing and seal. New speedometer cable
and transfer case mounting bushings. Big bearing rear axle with
4.11 gears. New axle bearings, replaced fluid and gasket. New KYB
shocks, steering stabilizer, radius arm, bushings, track bar
bushings, tie rod ends, Warn front hubs, steering knuckle bearings,
front and rear bump stops, spring bushings and u-bolts. Rebuilt
steering. New fuel lines and clips. New exhaust system.
The more time I spend with this Bronco, the more I like it. Very
tidy and proper throughout. The good ones like this continue to be
in high demand.
