Vehicle Description
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 2000 Dodge Viper RT/10
for consideration. This second-gen snake is in great shape and
features just 12,112 miles on the odometer. This Viper is finished
in a black exterior paint and paired with the black leather
interior, both original to the car. The exterior paint looks great
after receiving a full professional detail and is very clean other
than some scratching at the lower front valance. The interior is in
fantastic shape and shows that it was maintained exceptionally
well. Some factory options include hardtop, airbags, 4 wheel disc
brakes, anti-spin differential, 3.07 axle ratio, power rack, and
pinion steering, sport suspension, windshield wipers, dual rear
exhaust, spare tire, 12" clutch, oil cooler, 19-gallon fuel tank,
air conditioning, security alarm, power windows, premium alpine
stereo, leather-wrapped shift knob, fuel/oil/volt gauges,
tachometer, speedometer, tilt steering column, leather bucket
seats, message center, manual driver lumbar assist, RT/10 badging
and much more. Some aftermarket futures on this Viper include Borla
exhaust, Electric cutouts, and Forgestar wheels. The fit and finish
are very remarkable and the very low miles gives this car a leg up
on any others in the market. These 2nd generation Vipers continue
to have a very strong following and still retains the raw power of
what made the car special, but also gaining the simple luxuries
that most people desire in a sports car. A full car cover and 2
sets of keys will come with the vehicle. Call or email us today for
more information on this 2000 Dodge Viper RT/10.
The Dodge Viper was a sports car manufactured by Dodge (SRT for
2013 and 2014), a division of FCA US LLC from 1992 through 2017
having taken a brief hiatus from 2010-2013. Production of the
two-seat sports car began at New Mack Assembly in 1991 and moved to
Conner Avenue Assembly in October 1995. Minor updates would
continue in 1997 and 1998. In 1997, the RT/10 would receive the
450HP GTS engine along with air-bags and power windows. 1998 Vipers
were equipped with second-generation airbags, revised exhaust
manifolds (saving 24 lbs over the previous cast iron components)
along a revised camshaft. In 2000, the Dodge Viper updated to
lighter hypereutectic pistons and factory frame improvements. While
the hypereutectic pistons provided less expansion, the forged
pistons are preferred for the supercharging and turbo aftermarkets.
TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) recalls (998 and 999) were done at
local dealerships to repair the 1996 to 1999 Viper frames by adding
gussets with rivets near the steering box. 2001 saw the addition of
ABS.
