We are pleased to present something truly exciting in premium
custom design. Check out this cutting edge 1968 Camaro Custom
Convertible. Roger Burman at Lakeside Rods and Rides worked his
magic for the ultimate in award-winning appearance and winning
performance. The build showcases numerous body modifications
including a handmade rear spoiler welded to the body, front and
rear pans lowered 2 inches to accommodate the extended rocker
panels, functional Corvette Z06 brake ducts for cooling, the rear
bumper is narrowed and welded to body, modified 1970 Camaro tail
lights and Harley Davidson headlights, and a narrowed gas tank with
a custom rear pan and diffuser. The gorgeous leather interior is
the handiwork of the Tracy Weaver Recovery Room in Omaha, Nebraska.
Generously sized Classic Instruments endow the dash with form and
function. The car is built to go as well as show, with frame
connectors and a roll bar integrated to the frame for added
strength. Detroit Speed front suspension, a Quadralink rear, and
Baer brakes work with the chassis mods to bring handling to
competitive autocross level. Ample, reliable power comes from a new
Chevrolet Performance ZZ5 350 V8 engine and 700R4 automatic
transmission. A racing style shifter with reverse lock-out gives
you precise control and fits right in with the car's outstanding
track-worthiness. One look under the hood is all you need to see
that there's some serious performance potential here, and the
adrenaline will start pumping as soon as you fire it up. This motor
has the look and sound of authority. In keeping with the high level
of detail throughout, the car's color and design theme carries into
the custom engine bay. Custom finishing on the wheels give them an
integrated look. They too are state of the art. And big! The rears
are 20x10 Boze units with 325 Pirelli P Zero tires. This 1968
Camaro is packed with top-of-the-line features that make it clear
that nothing but the best would do in every stage of the build.
It's customary to talk about what's under the hood, but the hood
itself deserves special notice here. It's a Gemini carbon fiber
masterpiece with the carbon fiber pattern displayed in all its
glory, and a color-keyed scoop that directs plenty of cool air
directly to the giant K&N air filter. This is a thoroughly
thought-out custom design with just as much effort in the
performance department as in the appearance. The result is a
world-class ultra-performance custom Camaro that invites your close
personal inspection. ********** DISCLAIMER MAXmotive specializes in
