Vehicle Description
Cadillac Gold Mist Metallic exterior, Almond interior, Ram Jet
350hp 350ci V8 engine, Automatic overdrive transmission. Buyavette
is very excited to have the opportunity to offer this First-Class
1936 Chevrolet Coupe Street Rod. This is a complete body-off
restoration that was professionally built by Heinzman Street Rods
out of Phillips Nebraska, who documented the build with photos and
receipts. This is an All-Steel Body that was structurally
reinforced both inside, along with chassis enhancements. This is
one of the nicest well-done Rods you may ever lay your eyes on -
she is that nice! We rarely use the term "Show Car" in our
description - but she would be short-changed if we declined that
title. This Beauty is powered by a GM Performance fuel-injected 350
cu in RamJet V8, mated to a 700-R 4 speed Automatic transmission,
and a Ford 9" Posi-Traction rear end w/ 3:55 gears, and showing
just 1,415-miles since completed. The engine bay is nicely
detailed, with many chrome bolt-ons, serpentine belt, electric fan,
and SS exhaust. It requires some studying to realize the updates,
and improvements that were made to this body, such as the Molded
Drip Rails, Frenched Taillights, Door Handle and Bumper Deletes,
Electric Trunk Opener, Custom Grill, Push-Pin Type engine covers,
1-piece Windshield, and Light Gray Tinted Glass. She was finished
in a rich layer of a 2-stage, Cadillac Gold Mist Metallic X,
courtesy of Mustangs and More located in Yankton, South Dakota, and
boy - did they do a wonderful job! The chassis was powder coated,
updated with a Heidts Superide II front end w/ tubular control
arms, sway-bar, Power Rack & Pinion, a Triangulated 4-bar rear
suspension, sway-bar, riding on (4) QA-1 adjustable coil-overs at
all corners, as well as (4)Wheel Wilwood Disc Brakes. She was built
for show & go - as the under-body was Rhino coated, which will
allow the new owner to put the miles they want to drive this baby
w/o worrying you're chipping that beautiful under carriage!!
Recovery Room Hot Rod Interiors of Plattsmouth, Nebraska did the
interior, and to say this is top-notch, may be a slight
under-statement. The Almond leather applied to the bucket seats is
as soft as you'll find! The driver's seat is powered, the dash has
Dakota Digital gauges, and A/C vents, polished tilt column w/ Banjo
Style wheel, and a B&M floor shifter, finished off w/ a Premier
CD player w/ 6-disc changer. Again, this Street Rod looks good,
runs strong, is comfortable to drive, and will surely gain all the
attention she can handle! To top it all off, she is rolling on a
set of Polished Boyd Coddington Junkyard Dog wheels, w/ Cooper Zeon
Sport 205/50/ZR17, 235/55/ZR17 radial tires. Options include: Power
Steering, Power Brakes, Leather Interior, Vintage A/C, Tilt Wheel,
Power Driver's Seat, Power Windows, Premier CD Player w/ Changer,
and Boyd Coddington Wheels. This car took more than 2700 hours to
complete with $156,000 in receipts, that has to be seen in person
to fully understand the amount of workmanship, the hours and
details put into this car. It is priced to sell and will not last
long! FREE 2 YEAR/50K ADDITIONAL MILE WARRANTY WHEN PURCHASED AT
