Superformance MKIII SP00654 is painted in Royal Blue with Pearl
White Le Mans Stripes. Finished with all chrome trim on headlights,
roadster bumpers, turn signals, driver side roll bar, and even the
brass Windscreen frame. Car was professionally repainted by Newport
Shelby Cobra in 2018.
On the inside SP00654 has period correct Smiths Gauges with a Lucas
Ammeter Gauge in the period correct dash layout. The doors are
secure by original style carriage style latches. All openings, such
as engine bay, trunk, and cockpit are wrapped around steel subframe
for increased strength and support. Dashes are wrapped in leather
as are the steel framed seats which offer period correct webbing
for comfort and aesthetics.
All Superformance MKIII's feature a high performance aluminum
radiator with twin electric fans that are thermostatically
controlled. Also, this MKIII has a period correct oil cooler with
shroud and fittings. All Superformance MKIII's come standard with a
Limited Slip Differential and Power Disc 4 Piston Wilwood Brakes. A
Fire Suppression System is included as well as a Fire Extinguisher
mounted in the cockpit. This car was also recently fitted with
Electric Assist Power Steering
SP00654 is completed with a 392CID Windsor Stroker Engine putting
out 475HP and a Tremec 5 speed manual transmission. This is an
excellent drive train combination, perfectly filing out the engine
bay with reliable torque on a bullet proof block. The car has a new
McLeod Clutch, Clutch Slave Cylinder and Master Cylinder. The
Radiator, Carburetor, Fuel Pump, and Fuel Lines are new as well.
All Rubber Bushings, Belts and Hoses are new. The upgraded 17"
Polished Aluminum Pin Drive Wheels and Silver Ceramic Headers and
Pipes really dress up this Superformance Cobra.
Other upgrades include Ridetech Fully Adjustable Shocks, Cobra
Badges throughout, new Foam Padding in both Seats, Shoulder
Harnesses, Jordan Shifter, Hidden Front License Plate with Remote
Drop Down, Tonneau Cover, Outdoor Car Cover, and Owner's
Manual.
