Description: 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle 2 door 427 COPO tribute, in
2010 at 60,000 original miles this chevelle underwent a full no
expense spared nut & bolt rotisserie restoration (over $75,000 was
spent during this restoration) this 68 Chevelle started as a clean
rust free California car and retains all of its original sheet
metal, during this Chevelle's "rebirth" it was transformed into a
high performance 427 COPO recreation but the real surprise thought
is it was taken a step further with a GM performance ZZ502 crate
engine (with aluminum heads) installed under the hood. the engine
is complimented by a Muncie M-21 4 speed transmission, a 12 bolt
posi rear axel with 3.55 gears, factory AM radio, power brakes,
original date coded LOF glass, body is extremely straight! Paint is
a factory color called "Island teal" and is show quality paint,
very nice vinyl roof, interior is very nice with NOS rubber floor,
all chrome/stainless look great, all glass throughout the car is
great, all weather stripping is great, this car was once featured
in Chevelle World magazine which the magazine comes with the car,
have a binder full of pics of the restoration, have judging sheets
from a Maryland Chevelle Club regional show where this car scored
147 points out of 150, believe all of the
lights-signals-horn-gauges all work as they should, exhaust systems
sounds mean :), factory style Rally wheels, undercarriage is
beautiful! engine area is beautiful! the engine area and
undercarriage has factory style assembly line markings throughout
the car which you don't see often!
