Vehicle Description
The total appeal of this 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Pro Touring is as
clear as black and white...literally. And not only does this iconic
classic have a great modern style on the outside, but there's also
a well-done fuel-injected V8, six-speed, upgraded suspension, and a
true sports car custom interior. It's a total package made to go
fast and look good doing it.
White paint is bright and vivid when done right. So when you have a
quality investment on a build that has only about 3k miles on it,
then you really understand how this one looks like it could almost
glow in the dark. In fact, darkness is a key part of this coupe's
package with the grille, bezels, trim, and hood pins done in a high
contrast black. There's even a blackout look to the deeply tinted
windows. There is a more modern powerhouse under the hood, and
while we'll get to those details in a moment, you also instantly
know this one has been upgraded by its presentation. It's in the
big things, like how the color matched bumpers give this a
contemporary look. And those black wheels have a large 18-inch size
to fit modern tires. But this also gives hints it's an upgraded
machine in the little things, too, like the updated door handles
and mirrors. Plus, those custom hood louvers look like they could
be on a brand new Camaro.
Pro Touring means a serious machine that also has some added
comfort, and you really see that in this full black interior. It's
a nice custom setup that has new upholstery with a sporty carbon
fiber pattern insert. There were investments in new glass
all-around and plenty of sound deadening materials. You also even
have nice everyday features, like cup holders and a AM/FM/CD unit
w/USB and Bluetooth. But while this is comfy, you also know the
full package competition-oriented. You have two-high-back racing
bucket seats. There are G-force four-point racing harnesses
attached to a rear bracre bar that adds strength to the body.
There's a GT Grant sports steering wheel mounted on a tilt steering
column, and that gives you a clear view to the full Auto Meter
gauges including large speedo and tach. And have you counted the
gears on the Hurst shifter yet?
The engine bay has smooth black inner fender walls that seem to
just funnel your attention to this classic's modern heart in the
middle. This 6.2 Liter L92 V8 is a fuel injected motor known for
stout performance. It has been built the way you want it with a
mild cam and upgraded valvetrain. It inhales deeply with a cold air
intake, and Hedman headers add even more power while feeding the
X-pipe dual exhaust. The full build was done with quality pieces -
from the Rock Valley Fuel tank to the Griffin aluminum radiator.
It's a ton of power, and they gave you firm control over it all
with the Tremec T-56 six-speed manual transmission w/Ram HD clutch.
The full suspension was upgraded, and it includes BMR sway bars,
BMR boxed rear control arms, new bushings, and QA1 adjustable rear
shocks. This is added to new power steering components, modern
performance tires, and the superior stopping power of Wilwood
four-wheel disc brakes with drilled & slotted rotors.
