Command' 3-speed automatic transmission and Go Pack option.
Original drivetrain, original frost white paint with black stripes,
original red vinyl interior with reclining bucket seats.
The Go Pack Option on the 1968 AMX included either the 343 cu in
(5.6 L) 280hp or 390 cu in (6.4 L) 315hp high-output four-barrel V8
engine with a dual exhaust system and chromed exhaust tips,
heavy-duty cooling system with 7 blade fan, power front disc
brakes, upgraded Heavy Duty suspension for improved handling.
"Twin-Grip" limited-slip differential (posi), and over-the-top
racing stripes.
