History About Ford's Model A Model:
First introduced to the market in December of 1927, the newly
redesigned Model A was soon to be one of the most best-selling cars
in the world! Nearly two million Model A vehicles were sold in
several variations by July of 1928! A huge feat accomplished by
Henry Ford, and a testament to an automobile that will remain
iconic forever! With newly designed body characteristics to better
accent the cowl into the hood, the final 1930 & 1931 Model A's were
an instant hit and remain the most collectible in today's
market.

We are very pleased to offer for sale a wonderful 1930 Ford Model A
5-Window Rumble Seat Coupe that comes beautifully finished in
period correct Chicle Drab and Copra Drab combination paint, all of
which is highly complimented by Straw wire wheels. Inside, you will
find correct Lebaron Bonney Brown Check Wool interior upholstery
with a Brown naugahyde rear rumble seat! This stunning vintage Ford
is powered by a correct April 1930 date-coded 200.5ci inline
4-cylinder engine and 3-speed manual transmission. Additional
features include a rear rumble seat, tilt-out front windshield,
windshield visor, roll-down rear window, rear mounted spare tire,
vacuum-operated windshield wiper, interior dome light, chrome dash
bezel with map light, Ford threshold plates, quail radiator cap,
driver outside mirror, Spartan Ah-Ooh-Ga horn, correct Ford
headlamps, dual cowl lights & Duolamp tail-lamps, added seat belts
and turn signals for safety, and newer Lucas 4-ply black sidewall
tires!
This delightful example spent much of life in rural Red Bud, IL
where it sold brand new. It was completely restored with the second
Illinois owner who maintained possession until 2015 after
acquisition sometime in the early 1970's. It would mainly be used
for display and show purposes during the short Midwest driving
season each year and exercised in the occasional summer parade. Now
displaying only 8,292 miles on the odometer today, all of which is
believed to be accurate from new. This available Model A features a
fully rebuilt engine to run on modern unleaded fuels, new Babbitt
bearings, and hardened valves for unleaded fuel. More recently, is
received an upgraded Leakless water pump, all new coolant hoses and
clamps, stainless steel lower coolant tube, and proper 2-blade
cooling fan installed.
Service work for the current owner was carried out by Ford
mechanical expert Larry Shepard, with everything working as it
should, including the gauges, vacuum wiper, dome light, map light,
horn, and all exterior lighting. We found the running gear to be in
superb condition, making it ready for immediately use; cruising,
