Vehicle Description
1958 Chevrolet Impala Convertible. The Impala was launched as a
Sport Coupe and Convertible variant of the 1958 Bel Air line, and
named for an African antelope. Chevrolet had completely redesigned
its product lineup for 1958 and the Impala had a number of unique
features to separate it from the standard Bel Air. This is a rare
and unique one year only body style that was completely redesigned
as its own model designation in 1959. This incredible example is
finished in Code 910 Cashmere Blue paint accented by a fresh Code
823 Blue vinyl with Dark Blue, Light Blue, and Gray cloth inserts.
Both of which are correct to the car's trim tag. Our Impala also
has a Blue soft top with matching parade boot to keep everything
neat looking when the top is down. It is powered by a correct 283CI
V8 engine upgraded with tri power carburation through triple period
correct Rochester 2 Jet carbs. The shifting is done through a
Powerglide automatic transmission for effortless cruising. The
convertible was subject to a 10 year frame off restoration and has
beautiful paint and excellent chrome and brightwork throughout. Our
Impala is well equipped and features power steering, power brakes,
power soft top, rear continental kit, tissue dispenser, dual aerial
antennas, rear fender skirts, factory style floor mats, and 14in
steel wheels with factory style wheel covers wrapped in Coker
Classic wide whitewall radial tires. Please call Coast Motor
