Vehicle Description
You can instantly tell there's something special about this 1971
Chevrolet C10 454 Restomod. There are barely any miles on it since
completion, so you get an outstandingly slick appearance. Plus, you
have serious big block power, a custom A/C interior, upgraded
suspension, and all the other details that make this a true
stunner.
With less than 205 miles on the build (yes, under 205 miles!) this
truck has a presence that will have people gravitating towards it.
The fresh black paint has the ideal sleekness to give you the look
of a dark mirror. When the sunlight hits it, it radiates as it
highlights all the crisp angles of the restored body and its new
sheetmetal (including the well-defined creases and sporty fender
flares.) Plus, all the body's glossy black makes a terrific
intimidating attitude that's furthered by the performance-minded
upgrades. They expertly integrated details like an aggressive cowl
hood, and re-located the gas cap to the driver side rear marker
light for a sleeker body. Plus, the modern US Mags wheels have a
large 20-inch size that draw added attention to the lowered
suspension. And this all hints that you're going to like what's
under the hood (more on that in a moment.)
The interior has been restored to give you the best of classic
details and all the right upgrades. It starts with the
western-style pattern on the door panels that made these C10s
famous. The leather, bench, seat has houndstooth cloth inserts that
are legendary in Chevy's muscle cars (another indication of the
power this one brings to the streets.) There are some nice upgrades
for comfort/convenience like the tilt steering column, an
upgraded AM/FM stereo with modern USB input and Bluetooth, and
cold-blowing R134a air conditioning. When you slip behind the
three-spoke sports steering wheel, you have a full AutoMeter Carbon
Fiber Ultra-lite gauge package with large speedo and tach.
The engine bay immediately reminds you again of how fresh and
custom this build is with the smooth inner fenders and firewall
that funnel your attention to the shining big block in the middle.
While the polish and sharp looking Edelbrock pieces makes this
ready for the car show, this one was really built for driving. The
454 cubic-inch V8 has a mild cam, Holley four-barrel carburetor,
Edelbrock intake, and a large aluminum radiator to help keep it
running cool. In fact, speaking of good all-around performance, the
V8 is mated to a TH350 three-speed transmission that provides both
automatic cruising and a nice stall for performance driving. This
feeds a stout 12-bolt locker rear end. Take some extra time with
the undercarriage photos. You'll see some terrific upgrades, like
the C-notched frame for proper lowering, strong Mark Williams
axles, and an awesome four-link rear with adjustable coilovers. It
all goes to prove how thoughtful this powerful build is. You even
have great anytime driving features, like power steering and power
brakes w/discs up front.
Sleek, fresh, and loaded, you'll love showing it and driving it
from the moment you leave our showroom. So don't let this upgraded
C10 go into someone else's garage. Call now!
