ORIGINAL MATCHING NUMBERS, SWEET DRIVING RESTORATION, RECENT ENGINE OVERHAUL! This is a nice southern states truck with a strong drivetrain and tons of personality. Cosmetic
- Paint/Body: Solid and rust free all steel original body. Brand new paint is driver quality and shows nice. New door and convertible top weatherstripping.
- Interior: Original dash and gauges are all present and most functional. Seat is original and no rips or tears, but could be re-stuffed on the drivers side. Even the original instructional stickers are still present on the dash!
- Glass/Windows: Glass is all in good original condition. Windshield and top weatherstripping is all new. Rare original slider windows in great shape.
- Trunk: Solid and rust free bed with old spare tire.
- Undercarriage: Solid and rust free floor pans and rear truck bed pan. Zero rust on the original frame.
- Wheels/Tires: Original wheels with old bias-ply off road tires, lots of cracking but still hold air.
- Convertible Top: Recently installed after years, all new weatherstripping.
Mechanical
- Drivetrain: The engine was completely overhauled in July of 2020 and we have receipts for the repairs. The clutch feels new and engages all of the gears smoothly. This little truck drives great down the road in 2WD High. I have not tried to engage the 4x4 system but have been told it is completely functional and in good working condition. There is a touch of play in the steering typical of these vehicles.
- Lights/Electrical: Headlights, tail lights, and brake lights are all functional. New windshield wiper motors are functional individually or in tandem.
- Brakes: Brakes stop straight.
