Vehicle Description
Sunnyside Chevrolet of Elyria, Ohio in conjunction with Greg's
Sports, Classic, & Muscle is proud to offer for sale this beautiful
1967 Camaro SS/RS 4 Speed Convertible Pace Car!
Yep, we all know and remember the 69 Camaro Pace Cars in white with
orange interiors, that's because they made boatloads of them. In
the first year of Camaro production, 1967 the Indy 500 Pace car was
also a Camaro- there just were a lot fewer of them made. Most
accepted sites list numbers of around 103 actual Festival and Track
cars and about 200 others sent to preferred dealers before and
shortly after the race. This is one of those cars. This particular
car was sent to New Castle Delaware on April 17th per the NCRS
Shipping Report.
So, they made about 300 of them. Now let's talk about how many can
be left and once we have that discussion let's talk NUMBERS
MATCHING 4-speed!!!! They made a lot of automatics so the
dignitaries didn't look like dopes trying to drive the stick. We
all know that 4-speed commands a significant bump in value and then
throw in the original, numbers matching engine and we have one rare
67 Pacer. Wowsa.
Looking at the original firewall tag we see everything exactly as
it should be for a real Pace Car. 04A- Built the first week of

This car is wearing a quality, very well done ground-up
restoration. When we were looking to buy this car, we looked at all
the "shortcut" areas we are so used to seeing in a ground-up
restoration and this car passed every test. They didn't skip all
the windshield and vent window trim it's all done correctly. They
didn't use cheap components in the interior it's all done
correctly. The paintwork is slick, correct, and very well done.
They didn't just undercoat the underside of the car it is all
original metal, clean and correct. This one was done well and holds
its head far above the average, run of the mill Camaro. We've had a
lot of them but very few of this quality.
Drive it, show it, keep it in a bubble and polish it as a prized
possession, the choice is yours once you make it yours.
We stand behind our thoughts on this car by offering our travel
expenses guarantee- come see the car and if we have materially
misrepresented its condition we will gladly pay half of your travel
expenses up to $500.00- this offer had been in place since we sold
our first classic and we haven't paid the money yet.... We pride
ourselves on having good cars and representing them properly.
