Less chrome also was to slowly become an industry standard and it was now used primarily as a body highlight and not purely for decoration. Powertrains remained the same as the in '59 although this was the last year that a 2barrel or 3x2 barrel 'Tri-Power' carburetor was offered. This would also be the last year for the wrap around windshield styling. In 1960 Cadillac was the ultimate GM jewel outselling Lincoln, Chrysler amp; Imperial combined!The Harley Earl designed Cadillac Series 62 was a large luxurious Cadillac that could easily carry six people and had a power top, air suspension and featured a large 6,390 cc (390 c.i.) V8 engine with drum brakes.
