1965 Ford Mustang Resto-Mod For Sale - Designed, Fabricated With A

1965 Ford Mustang Fastback Resto-Mod Ford introduced the Fastback
version of the popular Mustang in August 1964. It traded
conventional trunk space for increased interior volume and gave the
car lines similar to the Corvette and some European sports cars.
The car was received with praise as it introduced a racing
disposition to the Mustang line and even served as the basis for
Carroll Shelby to build his GT350s. Today, Fastback Mustang's serve
as a very popular platform for Hot Rodders to improve on the
performance and styling offered from the factory. This 1965 Ford
Mustang RestoMod is a full custom one off build and has been
featured in several magazines such as "Modified Mustangs and
Fords." As well previously featured at the world renowned SEMA
show. It also won the coveted Lingenfelter Performance and Design
Challenge at the Optima Ultimate Streetcar Challenge Invitational
in Las Vegas, NV. Further validating its performance capability,
this Mustang has run over 200mph at the Texas Mile which is a truly
amazing feat. The full custom fab/build features a complete tubular
chassis, custom suspension, a monstrous Roush 427 CI V-8 and plenty
of other custom and personalized components. The exterior of the
car is finished with eye-catching White with Black and Red stripes.
Underneath that beautiful paint are over a 1,000 hours just in
subtle metal work including a custom front valance, fender arches,
rear quarter vents, tucked and shaved bumpers and a raked
windshield. The end result is a beautiful modern shape with cleaner
lines than original and yet still is unmistakably a Mustang. The
lowered stance of the custom 1965 RestoMod is complemented by the
18x8 and 20x10 Billet Specialties wheels wrapped with BF Goodrich
G-Force tires. The interior features personalized diamond-stitched
red and black leather upholstery with a matching custom console,
steering wheel and a custom gauge cluster. The center of the dash
is fitted with a Alpine Double Din and below that is an electronic
touchscreen that controls the power windows, headlights, hazards
lights and more. Also it can be switched to be used as gauges
showing engine parameters. The driver is kept pinned to the seat by
Crow harnesses and is protected by a six-point roll-bar system.
Under the hood hides a monstrous 427IR Roush Performance engine
topped with an electronic fuel-injection system and eight-stack
induction ports that peek through the hood. The Roush power plant
features an iron block with 4-bolt mains, a forged steel
crankshaft, forged steel H-beam connecting rods, forged aluminum
pistons, a Roush hydraulic roller camshaft and a custom 3-inch
exhaust featuring coffin mufflers. Power is sent to the rear tires
through a Richmond 5-speed manual transmission controlled by a
McLeod clutch, limited-slip differential and a Moser 9-inch rear
end that has been narrowed 5 inches. The tubular chassis is fitted
in the front with independent front suspension featuring Aldan
coilovers, and in the rear, a Moser triangulated 4-link suspension
system with Aldan coilovers. Wilwood disc brakes feature 6-piston
front and 4-piston rear calipers to clamp down on the 14-inch
rotors hidden behind all four wheels. Designed, fabricated and
built with cost is no object, has made this truly one of a kind
Mustang a reality. This is a top-quality Pro-Touring machine that
