A 1969 Chevrolet Corvette is already a dream car for many of us. So
when an awesome numbers-matching convertible with a deep cherry red
is available - and it even has cold-blowing air conditioning - then
you know this is already one hot deal.
We love Corvettes in red, and you can instantly tell the one who
upgraded this color is an enthusiast, too. It's an investment in a
high-quality application that gives this Stingray a show-ready
shine. So you just know this one has the kind of luster that will
impress every time you take this convertible out for a sunny Sunday
drive. And shine is a central theme to an earlier C3s like this.
They have desirable design features with plenty of brightwork like
the bumpers, side air vents, and Rally wheels. It means this
drop-top gives a first impression that's substantial, iconic,
classic.
Black always looks good against red. So this one has a stylish
appearance no matter if you have the black folding roof up or it's
down to show off the full black interior. The full package inside
has a fresh and clean look from a solid investment. Plus, the
darkness is broken up with just the right amount of bright trim for
accenting on the door panels, center console, and three-spoke
sports steering wheel. It's built to be a great driver with the
large speedo and tach right in front of you, and all the auxiliary
readouts are sitting central at eye-level. This one also has plenty
of great features you don't find on other classics. It includes
power windows, a retro-style AM/FM digital tuner, and cold-blowing
air conditioning (always a favorite for top-down driving in the
summertime.)
Under the hood is the numbers-matching 350 cubic-inch V8. It has a
very stock look, right down to the bold block and matching valve
covers. In fact, you'll have to dig pretty deep to find pieces that
are now original. For example, the four-barrel carburetor currently
on the motor is not the factory unit...but the rebuilt original one
also comes with the sale! This V8 fires up nicely, idles smoothly,
and makes a terrific sound out of the X-pipe dual exhaust. Out on
the road, the numbers-matching TH400 three-speed automatic
transmission is a nice pairing for comfortable cruising or quick
kick-downs into performance driving. This one feels solid with
power steering, four-wheel power disc brakes, and the Corvette's
fully independent suspension.
This Stingray is original in the best places, upgraded where you
want it, and has a terrific all-around level of investment. It
makes for a sharp drop-top icon you need in your garage. This
vehicle is registered with a rebuilt title. Call now!
