What started life as a pretty plain looking Ford workhorse is now a
cool, custom panel van with custom paint and pinstriping, an
awesome interior, and a 350ci V8 under the hood. Turn some heads in
your hometown with this matte black, pinstriped, classic that has
lots of cool upgrades. Matte black paint and a front end covered in
flames are the first few things that catch your eye when taking a
look at this classic. A closer look reveals intricate pinstripes on
the rear doors, as well as the raised Ford lettering at the back
having been painted. Those pops of color along with the squared off
chrome bumpers at the front and rear provide a little contrast to
the large areas of matte black paint. It's somewhat unexpected for
the interior to have a luxurious look to it. Real wood, red
leather, bucket seats, and red carpeting are not quite what you'd
expect to read to describe the inside of a '55 Ford. Afterall has a
bit of a rough and tough look. What look to be Mercedes Benz seats
have been covered in red leather which matches the custom door
panels. The rear cargo area is finished with upholstered sides that
have a combination of pillow stitch and tuck and roll worked in.
The floors are high gloss, dark wood slat with stainless steel
hardware. The dashboard is finished in matching matte black, and a
billet panel houses Beede gauges. Beede gauges are more common in
boating applications, but look the part in this classic Ford. Pop
open the forward-canting hood, and a 350 V8 with a few mods mated
to an automatic transmission can be seen. Weiand valve covers, 4
BBL carburetor, a polished overflow tank, and aftermarket fan are a
few of the mods on this custom. A very simple exhaust that consists
of headers and a few glasspacks ending in polished chrome tips make
sure that you can hear the V8. Smooth and curvy Cadillac hubcaps
have been added to finish off the classic hot rod styling. This
cool, custom panel van is ready for a new place to call home. Hot
Rod styling, a nice forward rake, luxurious interior, and a V8
under the hood are all great points about this custom. Turn heads
cruising around town, or use it for a business promotional vehicle.
All that cargo room, nicely finished custom interior, and the
custom exterior would make this a great promo vehicle for a number
of different industries. Whatever you choose to do with it, you'll
be feeling good about being behind the wheel. Be sure to check out
