A great color combo, the right Super Sport look, and some serious
big block power make this 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 that
deliver the style and attitude you really want.
Cortez silver is a great color to have on a Chevelle. It's the
factory correct color for this coupe, and it has the right luster
to give a proper shine. Plus, the silver is a great pairing with
well-coordinated blackout details. This includes the SS grille,
blackout rear panel, and full racing stripe package. And the
well-fitting black vinyl also goes with the car's dark side while
offering a premium appearance, too. There are more great sporty
touches, like the cowl induction hood, hood pins, and the wide dual
exhaust tips. And while those wheels look like classic Mag units,
they are actually larger 17-inch alloys that can hold modern
performance tires.
All that black on the outside also gets you ready for a full
blackout interior. And not only does the darkness look great in a
muscle machine, but it's also a part of the full factory-correct
color package. There's a high degree of originality here, but they
also made the right upgrades, like newer covers for the seats. And
speaking of the seats, this has this the desirable buckers up front
and a center console in-between. And this one makes sure it's easy
to enjoy the drive with features like a tilt steering column and
the iconic horseshoe shifter.
It's always great to see a Chevelle engine bay filled with proper
big block power. The motor has some nice details, like the bright
valve covers, dark block, and the gasket around the air grabber
means it'll be easy to have a functioning cowl induction hood when
you want it. This 454 cubic-inch V8 is built with the right go-fast
goodies, like a new installed Holley four-barrel carburetor and
black painted Edelbrock Performer intake. Plus, there's an upgraded
aluminum radiator to help keep this big block package running cool.
The motor fires up readily, runs smooth, and makes a sweet rumble
from the dual exhaust. There's no buildsheet to make a definitive
Super Sport call, but we do like that it has the big block power
mixed with the correct sway bars, 12-bolt rear, and stronger boxed
trailing arms. You also have power steering, power brakes w/discs
up front, and a stout TH400 three-speed automatic transmission.
This Chevelle has the look and power you've been after for so long.
That's why you know you can't let this hardtop slip away. Call
