For Sale: 1931 Ford Model A in Hewitt, Wisconsin

Vehicle Description

This 1931 Ford came to us for a consignment sale. The current owner purchased this car from a Father / Son team that home built this car, but don't let that home built part fool you, this is excellent craftsmanship! As the pictures show, these guys that built it had experience in building cars and rat-rods, and it shows in every detail. There is a stack, and we mean a STACK of paperwork (of which dates back to 1999) that comes with this car. The car is a 1931 sedan that has the roof dropped 2.5", and a '51 Merc roof blended in with the original - to give it a bit more style. Suicide doors, wide shaved handles & poppers. Electric windows - although the drivers window is not currently working. The overhead console holds the radio. The interior is obvious to see that it is all custom. All nicely done. It is a comfortable ride, easy to drive.
It is based on a hand built frame with independent front & rear suspension. The differential is a rebuilt corvette rear end with 3.70 gears, and air bagged. The front is coil over shocks with A-arms with power rack & pinion. The power steering pump also supplies the pressure for the hydra-boost brake set-up. The brakes are 4 piston disc on front and rear. The brake lines are all hand made stainless steel lines. There is a line-lock installed in the brakes system. The gas tanks are saddle tanks, and separately operated and filled. There is a single fuel pump after the switching valve that manages the fuel supply. The engine is a vortec engine 350, which was rebuilt and dyno'd. It produced 387 hp @ 5500 rpm, and 400 trq. @ 4300 rpm. Sanderson headers, Edelbrock intake & carb, MSD ignition, Griffin radiator, Vintage Air AC/heat, Lokar shifter, ididit tilt steering column, The transmission is a 700r4 overdrive transmission, and an aluminum driveshaft. The trans has the "vette" servo, kevlar clutches, stall converter. Budnik wheels, 17" out back and 16" in the front, and those are wrapped in BFG Comp T/A ZR4's
A description and pictures, no matter how well written and taken, cannot do this car justice. We are asking $46,350.00 and will entertain offers. Call 715-384-8507
