I am selling my personal investment quality 2002 Porsche 911
Carrera 4S Coupe. The car is finished in Arctic Silver that shows
only very minor imperfections over a almost perfect Metropol Blue
leather interior that has been upgraded with Porsche Crest sport
bucket seats. I acquired the car in October 2019 from race driver
Dick Barbour, who was a 24 hour at LeMans winner teamed with Paul
Newman (Cool Hand Luke). The C4S is powered by a 3.6-liter flat-six
paired that drives all four wheels through a six-speed manual
transaxle. Additional features include 18? Turbo Twist wheels,
dual-zone automatic climate control, a factory CD player, and a
front trunk-mounted CD changer. Work performed during prior
ownership consisted of replacing the IMS bearing by Tom Wood
Porsche in Indianapolis, and the rear main seal. This 996 C4S
indicates 48k miles and is offered with service records from
current and prior ownership, a clean Carfax report, and a clean
Georgia title. The Carrera 4S shares its wider bodywork with the
contemporary Turbo model and features a model-specific heckeblende
taillight panel. This example is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic
(X1) and features bi-xenon headlights, a speed-dependent rear
spoiler, and a sunroof. Silver 18? Turbo Twist wheels wear colored
Porsche crest center caps and New Sumitomo tires. A three-spoke
steering wheel frames a central tachometer, a 200-mph speedometer,
and auxiliary gauges. The odometer indicates 48K miles, of which
approximately 1400 have been added by me. The 3.6-liter flat-six in
the 4S featured a 7,300-rpm redline and a compression ratio of
11.3:1 to produce a factory-rated output of 320 horsepower with 273
lb-ft of torque. Work performed in May 2016 included replacement of
the rear main seal, and IMS bearing with LN Engineering components.
An alignment and oil and filter change were also completed. Power
is delivered to all four wheels through a six-speed manual
transaxle and an all-wheel-drive system. Zero modifications ALL
completely stock and very well maintained by a PCA member. The
option sticker decodes to reveal the following information: 288 -
