Vehicle Description
A 2001 Ford F-150 Lightning SVT with almost unbelievable low
mileage is already quite appealing. This modern classic even comes
with all the right paperwork. But more than just preserved, this
one pickup has been enhanced in the right places for that extra
dose of attitude and fun you really want when adding to the
ultra-low odometer.
A super-fast supercharged pickup looks awesome in a vivid bright
red. It's the factory application, and the ultra-low mileage tells
you this one has been under incredible care from day one. The
Lightning represents the hot rod of the truck world, and they
turned that up a notch with special features, like the custom white
pinstriping on the hood and tailgate. And American Racing Torq
Thrust wheels are another great touch that connects this one to
classic street machines. But they are in a modern size to
accommodate modern performance tires. (the original wheels and
tires also come with the sale, too.) These join the sporty details
Ford already made part of the special Lightning package. It
includes the color-matched bumpers, billet-style dual grilles,
crystal-clear headlights, and side exhaust tips. There's a sleek
body kit, and this generation F-150 really knew how to get a smooth
look on the stepside bed. While we imagine you want this one for
mostly hauling asphalt, there is a full bed liner and a proper
trailer hitch on the rear w/electric plug. It reminds you that this
exceptionally preserved pickup is also always ready for real truck
duty.
Such low mileage means the interior also keeps that day-one
feeling. These trucks were expensive when new, and so the interior
is a mix of performance and luxury. You see it perfectly in the
seats. They are sculpted like sports car buckets, and they are
finished with a great suede like upholstery with leather inserts.
The center armrest folds up for the handy jump seat when needed,
but your seat always will be ideal thanks to eight-way power
adjustments. There are all the best luxuries like air conditioning,
power windows, power locks, power mirrors, rear defogger, cruise
control, tilt steering column, power steering, dual airbags, ABS,
AM/FM/cassette stereo with CD changer, and an alarm. This even has
a proper sliding rear window for a true pickup truck experience. Of
course, the special SVT white-face gauges are an instant reminder
that this is something far more than your average truck.
The engine bay continues this truck's absolutely fresh style. So
the original fuel-injected 5.4-liter V8 with its power-ready
supercharger makes for an awesome display. Ford made a
380-horsepower masterpiece, and so it deserves to look this
well-preserved. In fact, the only upgrade you may really spot is
the Optima red top battery. The undercarriage continues this stock
and fresh presentation - right down to the factory tags. But if you
look closer, you'll also spot Bell Tech lowering kit. It gives this
a meaner stance and tighter performance. That works with the
Bilstein shocks, grippy Toyo Proxes ST II tires, four-wheel disc
brakes, limited-slip rear end, and sway bars front & rear to
deliver a terrific handling truck. Plus, the four-speed automatic
transmission is a heavy-duty unit that knows how to handle the big
power as well as let you cruise in overdrive comfort.
This is a collector item, and so the sale comes complete with the
right documentation, including the original window sticker, owner's
manual, title documentation, and maintenance records. It's a muscle
pickup that's truly ready to continue being appreciated as the
classic it is. Call today!!!
