This 2016 Ariel Atom 3S has 2500 miles, is powered by a turbocharged 2.4-liter Honda K24Z7 inline-four and a six-speed manual transaxle mounted in an exposed tubular steel chassis. Additional equipment includes Lexan side panels, carbon fiber wings, Alcon brakes, JRi adjustable dampers, a cockpit-adjustable traction control system, a quick-release steering wheel, and more. The car is street legal and equipped with headlights, taillights, reverse lights, and turn signals. Black 15″ front and 16″ rear wheels are mounted with new tires in November 2020. Alcon brake calipers and slotted rotors are featured at all four corners, and a brake bias adjuster is located in the cockpit. Additional running gear includes JRi adjustable dampers along with bell cranks and two-piece springs. Aftermarket hard wired CTEC trickle charging port (never used), upgraded mirrors and Racequip 6-point harnesses. These can be removed and a 2-point set is included as well. A quick-release Momo steering wheel frames a backlit DASH2 Pro digital display with readouts for speed, RPM, temperature, fuel level, gear position, and more. The turbocharged 2.4-liter Honda K24Z7 inline-four produces 365 horsepower, and contemporary testing measured 0-60 mph acceleration times of 2.9 seconds.
