2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport 4x4
The 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is the four-door, five-seat
version of the two-door, four-seat Jeep Wrangler. The Unlimited is
offered in four main trims: Sport, Sport RHD, Sahara and Rubicon.
Four-wheel drive is standard on all trims.
For consignment is the Unlimited Sport, which features a
winch-capable front bumper, wider rock rails, black 17-inch
aluminum wheels with BFGoodrich tires, a distinctive power dome
hood, black tow hooks, and black extra tuff broadcloth upholstery.
This model also has a one of a kind roof direct from Canada which
covers the passengers and offers up a rear vertical glass window
and small bed cover. Grand Teton National Park, here we come!
Exterior
This 4 door tough little guy is all wrapped up in Amp'd color which
can best be associated with butterscotch. All paint is excellent
and the deep end of the pool, with no rust, and nearly factory
perfect. Upfront the iconic Jeep grille with vertical metal bars
for the grille and flanking single headlights on either side. A
black, tow hooked front bumper is below and sports built in extra
running lights. Black fenders curve around 17-inch Jeep aluminum
wheels wrapped in off road 225/75R17LT OWL's on all 4 corners. The
well minded gapped doors with tinted glass have black handles, big
black mirrors and body matching exposed hinges and a black step-up
running board to help with climbing aboard. On top is a Premium
Black Sunrider soft top with a rear vertical glass window, and bed
cover all in excellent unmarred condition. On the very back of the
small bed, if you will, hangs the spare tire with a matching wheel
and rubber. A tow package is also in but now has a Highland metal
framed and mesh screened tray for extra room for your gear. All
beautifully appointed and looking the part...RADICAL!
Interior
A swing of the seam free black molded vinyl doors allow for any
dirt to easily be washed away, and have power lock toggles embedded
within. A nice netted storage space is in the front corner of each
door. Inside we have front high back black broadcloth covered
buckets and a rear 60/40 folding bench. Between the buckets is a
full length floor console. Upfront within the dash is a premium
instrument cluster with a tachometer, temp and compass gauges added
in. Fronting the dash is a tilt wheel steering column with a rally
wheel with mounted audio controls. These work a 130amp Am/FM/CD/MP3
6 speaker stereo system that when cranked up with scare off any
wildlife nearby. Weather-tech floor mats are all over and protect
Amp'd colored metal interior floors. In the way back is a small bed
with black carpeting and Weather-tech mat covering the floor
surface. This truck also has the added convenience of a 12 volt
plug in for that TV in the tent "glamping experience". WAHOOOO!
Drivetrain
Under the hood is a very clean 3.6 liter V6 24 valve VVT power
plant fed by EFI. On the back is a 6-speed manual transmission
which throws power rearward to a 3.73 ratio Dana 44 rear axle. With
the pull of a lever right next to the shift lever, you can engage A
Dana 30 front axle..."CLIMB EVERY MOUNTAIN..."
Undercarriage
All clean and clear underneath with solid metal structural framing,
floor pans and rockers. Various transfer case shields and skid
plates protect against the rock elements you may encounter in your
climb efforts. 4-wheel disc brakes for the downhill descent, and
some coil springs to dampen the rough trails. MOTORIN'...
Drive-Ability
This tough beauty fired right up and on the test track pulled no
punches. All functions were working just fab, and switching from 2
to 4 wheel drives was a breeze...LETS GIT A LITTLE MUD ON THE
TIRES!
Overall, this snazzy Amp'd Unlimited Sport is well appointed,
looking great, and ready for any outdoor adventure you can throw at
it. All under the wonderful Jeep Badge, a go anywhere
explorer...what say you Vasco Da Gama??? STRAP IN!!
