1958 Chevrolet Apache 3100 Fleetside. It has the small back window,
short bed, manual transmission with the straight 6 235. I've owned
this truck for 17 years and have tinkered with it here and there.
In that time I've replaced the fuel tank, brake lines, spark plugs
and have rebuilt the carburetor, although it does need a good tune
up to be able to run properly. I've had it started and have driven
it around town a little but then life got busy and I haven't given
it the attention it deserves. I did get it to start and run a few
months ago but I believe the timing is off just a little. The body
is in good condition for how old it is. There are a few rust spots,
one major spot on the front fender, a couple smaller ones in the
floorboard and door area. All glass is in great shape. It has the
original wood bed but the previous owner put a metal plate on top
so he could use the truck for his fencing company in California.
