Vehicle Description
The 1956 Chevrolet Corvette has a true vintage style, but you also
instantly know this one has much more. Its vivid paint is your
gateway to a full custom interior, five-speed stick-shift, and
fuel-injected V8 that makes this an awesome custom restomod.
The paint on this one holds close to the Corvette's Cascade Green,
but on a build with only 5,500 on the odometer, there's a bit more
personality to it. The added character also comes from a sporty
style that eliminates the front bumper overriders and adds American
Racing salt flat wheels. It's the kind of things many people did to
their Corvettes back in the day, but this one didn't stop there.
You have terrific custom pieces. The side coves are actually
painted trim used to contain the custom flame graphics. And the
rear has a custom bumper design where it no longer need to hold the
exhaust tips, because you have a cool quad-tip design that signals
a more modern machine. Even with the updated look, this one keeps
that classic look we all love. The tooth grille shines like a
10,000-watt smile. And the '56 car ushered in the era of the
headlights fully up front and a clean design without tailfins. And
so this restomod still celebrates that iconic look.
The gray convertible top provides a nice contrast to the turquoise
exterior, but for true distinction, you're going to want to take it
down and show off the full custom light tan interior. There are
terrific details, like the classic-style upholstery that's now
finished in a supple leather. And the door panels, dash, shift
boot, and carpet piping are all done to match. There are
well-integrated upgrades, like the power windows, heater controls,
and a retro-style AM/FM digital tuner w/cassette. Plus, you'll love
the look when the full digital gauge package lights up the dash
with its cool blue glow.
Under the hood, the clean inner walls really funnel your attention
to the shining heart in the middle. This is a true restomod, and so
they made sure this was a proper tidy and upgraded powerhouse. Not
only is this 350 cubic-inch V8 larger than anything offered in '56,
but it also has been upgraded with an Edelbrock intake, MSD
distributor, and shorty headers feeding a sweet-sounding dual
exhaust. It's all topped with an Edelbrock electronic fuel
injection system for the best in power and consistency. And to make
sure you have the best control of this enhanced motor, you have an
upgraded Tremec five-speed manual transmission. It makes for a
package that gives you an awesome powertrain upgrade without losing
the classic C1 Corvette feeling.
This was a multi-year build that was a labor of love, and the
quality shows. So if you want a restomod that still gives you the
right classic car style, don't miss this Corvette. Call now!
