Vehicle Description
STK 2877 1950 Ford F-1
The first generation F-series Ford trucks were introduced in 1947.
This new "Bonus-Built" design featured a one-piece windshield and
integrated headlights. The 1950 model was the last year for the
"original" F-1 - beginning in 1951 Ford introduced many new
exterior design concepts to the model. This 1950 Ford F-1 half ton
was partially restored in 2016. From the Raven Black exterior to
the polished oak 6-1/2' bed to the carefully reupholstered
interior, the restoration was very well done. Exterior accents
include chrome front/rear bumpers, side-mount mirrors, 16" painted
wheels with Ford caps/trim rings and period correct Coker wide
whites. The interior has been restored back to original. A
comfortable bench seat is reupholstered in period correct grey
vinyl, the classic dash holds a factory "gauge package" and cooling
is provided by adjustable vent windows. The detailed engine
compartment houses a 226 ci flathead six that the owner states was
rebuilt. The 4-speed manual transmission utilizes a floor-mounted
shifter ans delivers torque to a factory differential. Brakes are
hydraulic 4-wheel drum and electrics are 6-volt. Our owner has
taken good care of thes F-1. If you act post-haste, you will not be
disappointed. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
