This 1992 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible is a loaded and drop-top
classic that has everything you want. That means an awesome
color-combo, low mileage, a fuel-injected V8, and this even has the
sought-after FX3 suspension option. So it's amazing that something
so desirable can also remain so affordable...for now.
The sharply pointed nose, sleek body lines, and buzzsaw wheels make
these later C4s look fantastically aggressive. But there's more
going on here. The factory original shade of Polo Green is still
appealing nearly 30 year later. It's a combination of good care and
car that has averaged less than 2,500 miles annually. So you still
get an emerald-like glow when the sunshine finds this drop-top. We
like this look because it's far rarer than red, and it gives this
one a different personality. In fact, the tan folding roof gives
this all-American classic a bit of a European flair. And that's
furthered by the trunk rack on the rear deck.
Beneath the tan roof is a tan interior, so this one has its
attractive color combo with the top up or down. This loaded
interior means you and your passenger get supportive leather bucket
seats that are power adjustable in just about every direction.
These later C4s have some desirable features you didn't get on
earlier cars, like the AM/FM/CD stereo, driver's air bag, and an
artful gauge package that has your digital speedometer flanked by
analog readouts. There are more great features, like power windows,
power locks, anti-theft system, a tilt steering column, and cruise
control. And the cold-blowing air condition is always desirable in
a drop-top classic.
Another reason to get a later C4 is the fuel-injected LT1 V8 rated
at 300 horsepower. Combine this with the fully independent
performance suspension and optional FX3 adjustable ride & handling
package, this coupe has the kind of outright performance that has
solidified the Corvette's reputation as America's premiere sports
car. This is believed to be the original motor, and it looks
fantastically original in the engine bay, right down to the decals.
A good corvette is meant to be an all-around driver, and so this
has a four-speed automatic transmission that's good for both
overdrive cruising and quick kick-downs into power. This is added
to power steering and four-wheel power disc brakes for a full grand
touring experience.
A speedy drop-top Corvette this complete and this kind of packaging
is the kind of deal that will be going fast. Don't miss out, call
today!
