This vehicle recently came out of an estate, where this car was the gentleman's prized possession. He did drive the car regularly, but the car always stayed in doors and was well maintained. As his health declined, he still drove the vehicle regularly. There are little items on the car that could be replaced or fixed as the car was driven (i.e. weather stripping, carpet and trim re-attached in spots, etc.).
The car is believed to be numbers matching motor and transmission. The car has a 260c.i. V8 with an automatic transmission. The car runs and drives as it should for its age.
The car has had one repaint in the factory Carnival Red and still has its original red interior. The trim/data tag does indicate a red-on-red car. The wheel skirts give the car a nice classic look but could be removed as well. The car is believed to have its original trim. The car's paint and trim does show signs of older paint work and does have driver quality wear and tear. This is not a perfect show car.
This is a pretty solid rust free car with lots of potential to modify or leave it as is in its stock form. This is a great car for the beginning collector.
