Vehicle Description
Very clean 1969 Camaro SS/RS Convertible Pace Car tribute. Trim tag
is pictured clearly. Same owner 33 years with a clean Florida
title. Car was originally a 4 speed car and the pedals are still
there. The car has a 12 bolt and disc brakes and was a 4 speed so I
strongly assume it to be a real SS! Big block car originally is
hard to tell also and I wouldn't know that answer! The rear was
never checked to match or not so assume it is not and hope for the
best. It also has the backup lights in the rear valance for a real
RS but who knows as you can't tell for sure with that. Car has
power disc brakes, power top, 12 bolt posi rear with 3:73 gears,
factory console and console gauges, clock in the dash and much
more. As you can see, the car is very nice and clean with a
complete new interior, the paint is about 5 years old and is pretty
straight and clean with one 3' crack in the paint on the top of the
drivers fender that I have been trying to get fixed but my body guy
buddy is just too busy and it's just not going to happen. The next
owner can fix it if he desires. The body lines are very nice, the
stripes are done correctly, the decals were put on when it was
painted and look new because the car has seen very little light in
the past 5 years. The convertible top is pretty much brand new and
the top boot is like new also. The chrome is just as nice as the
rest of the car. The engine is a 454 roller motor punched out to a
468 and is fresh from about 10 years ago as well and sounds and
runs very nicely. Engine has 500 miles on it max because the car
was being built the whole time and attempting to get finished. I
have a video of it running and driving. Unfortunately the guy who
built the motor passed away so I do not know the down and dirty
particulars but do know what I mentioned. It has an electric fan
that comes on with the key. The car was a little raced up at some
point and some of that stuff has been removed but it still has a
fuel cell in the trunk and it was mini
