This is a bad ass square body Suburban! It's a lifted 4x4 with limo
style rear seating. If that's not cool enough it has a set of train
horns too. Solid southern truck with upgrades. There is one invoice
for $19,050 and that is just the motor compartment and trans! It
was all done at one time by one shop. Christmas eve I took my
family looking at Christmas lights for over 2 hours in this
vehicle. We had Christmas music going, food and lots of fun. It
really drove great. It steered, handled and rode great. Plenty of
power to go dashing through the snow.
EXTERIOR: Very tough looking! Solid body. I bought it in Georgia,
it was from North Carolina prior to that. It was repainted charcoal
gray metallic in 2013. Original color was black, jambs were not
repainted. Overall the body and paint look great, its not perfect
like some of our cars. It's decked out with N-fab step bars, 18
inch custom Dick Cepek wheels wrapped in 35x12.5 Pro Comp Xtreme
A/T tires. Upfront the grill and bumper are Shiney. It has a chrome
Chevy bowtie, headlights look custom. The mirrors look new, rear
bumper looks new. Good original glass is dark tinted. The weather
strips are good. It has side by side tailgate doors.
INTERIOR: New custom bucket seats in front with armrests. The back
is limo style with new reverse facing bucket seats, a matching rear
bench seat, custom side seats and plenty of cup holders. The carpet
was all replaced. The infotainment system features Bluetooth, aux
plugs, back up camera. There are 6x9 speakers front and back along
with a subwoofer box. New headliner. The rear doors are
reupholstered The dash pad is in excellent shape, all the trim is
good original. It has seatbelts at every seat. It also features
factory power windows and locks and tilt cushion grip wheel.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It was treated to a major upgrade. The low
tech, low horsepower motor was yanked and replaced with a high
performance modern power plant. It has an LS-1 6.0 that was stroked
to 408 cubes. It features LS-3 aluminum heads, forged crank, Z06
cam, JE pistons, h-beam rods. New LS3 intake, injectors and rails.
New set of ceramic coated BBK headers. Custom polished intake tube
has a Spectre air filter. It has a high end LS conversion kit
($737) using modern ECU assuring all functions/gauges operate as
they should. It has a dual battery system wired up for a battery
tender. Upgraded wiring and a blade style fuse block. New radiator
and a/c condenser. New $400 bracket and serpentine pulley system.
New a/c compressor.
UNDERSIDE: The front end is all rebuilt. It has a heavy duty 10
bolt front axle with G2 aluminum cover. ProComp steering damper.
Custom built Turbo 400 automatic with new converter. In back it has
a 14 bolt rear end with a G2 aluminum cover. It has Warn hubs. The
suspension lift uses Bilstein gas shocks and new springs. Slotted
front disc brakes. New steering box and steering shaft, rebuilt
lower half of the column. New starter. It has 3 air horns with
compressor and air tank under the truck. It has a custom fuel tank
and fuel pump that supports the LS motor. The floors are original
and look clean, no undercoat hiding anything.
