This 1955 Chevrolet 210 Sedan is a very cool kind of classic. It's
got a nice shine and color-coordinated look you want on a vintage
machine. But while this has a stock style inside and out, lurking
below the surface is a powerful crate V8 upgrade.
This Chevy's red and black two-tone begs to be shown in the
sunshine. That's thanks to the huge luster that only comes from
investing in a more modern clearcoat application. And the shine
rolls evenly across the body because the panels are looking good
and the gaps are straight. Like any good '50s machine, this one
carries plenty of distinctive brightwork. Up front it's the iconic
aircraft-inspired hood ornament. There's also the wraparound chrome
bumpers, two-piece wheel trim, and stylish side trim. So it all
makes for a great representation of the sedan that launched the
legendary Tri-Five era.
The two-tone theme continues, and it makes for quite an attractive
total package. The seats have a well-done look with a stock style
pattern that has a 1950s cool tuck and roll insert on both rows.
The doors were even done to match. There are nice details, like the
intricate detailing on the factory steering wheel, the Delco AM
radio is still on display, and the dash has a smooth shine as it
replicates the Corvette's dual cowl design. You'll even spot good
fundamentals, like the new weather-stripping and working dome
light.
Under the hood is where this one really deviates from classic
style. Sure, the 1955 Chevy launched the small block era, but it
never got anything as wicked as this. You're looking at a fresher
crate V8 in a larger 350 cubic-inch size. It's built with a
Rochester four-barrel carburetor, Holley Street Dominator intake,
and headers that fed the dual exhaust. And while this is quite a
bit stronger than the original, you still control it with a
column-shifted three-speed manual transmission. So you keep the
vintage feeling but now with proper power behind it...doesn't that
sound like fun? The classic-style wheels even hide the grip of
modern sport tires.
This Chevy has the shining iconic style you love but now with a
sleeper-level of V8 power. It makes for an irresistible total
package that you just need to get your hand on right now. Call
