1974 Ford E100 Econoline "Shorty" Custom Show Van. with a 105.5" wheelbase. The second-generation Econolines keep the 1968 stylish and unchanged until 1974, so this looks like a 60's van. Where do start with this van? It has to be one of the cleanest Econoline in the country! Period! This restomod van has a "House of Color" Tangelo Shimrin Pearl paint job that is cut and buffed (even on the roof) to absolute perfection. The body is straight, like looking down a mirror and seeing no waves. All trim (except door handles) have been "Murdered Out" to create a one of a kind look. The door handles have been left chrome so you don't burn your hands on a hot day. The custom one of a kind metal hood scoops are shaped to exactly match the original hood contour and keeps the 60's Muscle car look. The lower section of the body is LizardSkin ceramic coated finished in black on the bottom with the tangelo above. The original 300 straight-six has been replaced with a new crate racing 302 four-barrel that makes about 330 horsepower making this van really move. The 3 on the tree speed trans has been completely rebuilt with new gears and it has a new 9" 3.01limited-slip rear end. New balanced drive-line and dual exhaust with custom black tips. The entire undercarriage has been painted with black undercoating enamel looking completely clean with no rust anywhere on the van. The interior has "Procar Pro-90 1300 series seats that have been reupholstered with diamond tuck purple and black inserts with all new foam.The dash is also cut and buffed with black and tangelo. It has custom satellite gauges. Other gauges consist of aircraft switches that control not only the CD player and Alpine 600 watt power amp but also the interior LED lights. The Alpine amp is pushing 4- 6x9 speakers with an 8" subwoofer. The custom LED charging system shows the amps both in numbers and graphics. Custom skull knobs on the shifter and skull knob on the turn signals powder-coated in purple. All new weather stripping throughout. Custom magnetic drink holder sits on the doghouse until it needs to be opened. Ceilings and walls have been rhino coated and professionally reupholstered with embossed alligator leather in black and purple with one-inch high-density foam behind to ensure a quiet ride. Cooper lower profile tires with US Mags 0106 with 17x7s on the front and 17x8's on the rear for a 60's stance. Everything is done and done right. Pictures does not do this van justice.
