For Sale: 1969 Ford Bronco in Pacific Palisades, California

Vehicle Description

This rust-free blue plate California ’69 Ford Bronco Roadster is one of a kind. It has a lot of money and time invested in the restoration. It has been built to the highest of standards. This is the perfect Classic Ford Bronco for driving in warmer climates or on nice days. The amazing paint work was done professionally (inside, outside, engine bay and covering all wheel wells) is a ’69 Corvette Yellow (#56) with lots of clear coat and a perfect high gloss finish. The body is steel and 100% rust free. It has a chrome grille and a stainless steel windshield frame. The hood is a fiberglass cowl hood that was match-painted inside and out. This is a Bronco that was built to be driven in nice weather. It has no heater or wipers because the former owner did not need them, he only took it out on the best of days. It drives as well as it shows.

The engine is a rebuilt matching numbers 302, it has an Edlebrock intake, valve covers, carburetor and polished aluminum air cleaner. It has an electronic distributor, a high output alternator and a newer starter and an Excel super coil, plus Mallory plug wires and a HD aluminum radiator. It has electronic ignition. The original wire harness has been reworked and is still in good shape. It has new drive shafts, ceramic headers, and a double baffle Flowmaster dual exhaust system, which has been correctly routed out behind the rear tires so you don’t get fumes in the cab while driving it. The 3 speed manual transmission and Dana 20 transfer case have been gone through and painted Cement gray, as have most of the top side and under side parts. It has a Holley electric fuel pump, a newer fuel pressure regulator, plus all the old fuel lines were replaced with metal and braided fuel lines, plus it has a newer oversized 23 gallon fuel tank.

Nearly everything was replaced in this restoration. It has a lot of diamond plating inside, not to cover up rust but because the former owner loved diamond plate. The Beard racing seats are comfortable on long rides, it has 3" racing style lap belts in front with shoulder harnesses. It has racing style lap belts in the back. It has a Cement gray stock dash with a stereo system in-dash with 2 6x9 speakers flush mounted in the rear side panels, with an antenna that actually picks up radio stations. It has chrome Autometer gauges in the dash, plus a chrome ash tray and glove box door. It has gray foot petals with new rubber fuel, brake, clutch and e-brake petal pads. The owner installed 2 WW2 hand grenades as shifter knobs on the shifters for the transmission and the transfer case.

It has a 5.5″ suspension system with the best of components, including extended radius arms with 4.5 degrees of camber built into them. It has custom front dual shock mounts, progressive rate coil springs, a Ford 9″ with Posi-traction in back with a heavy-duty axle truss, it has 11 leaf rear springs, replaced shackle bushings, and dual rear shocks. It has custom tubular front and rear bumpers and a full roll cage with yellow padding and wrapping. It has a Dana 30 front axle that has been gone through with disc brakes and a heavy-duty axle truss underneath. It has custom aluminum 15x10" wheels with polished bead-locks and 35x12.50x15 BFG tires, plus wide black front and rear fender flares. It has a newer power steering pump and steering gear box, a heavy duty drop bracket for the track bar, an adjustable drag link, plus heavy-duty steering linkages. The steering is tight with no wandering.

It has a clean CA title and current tags. This Bronco could not be built today for less than $100K.
