This Westfalia camper was restored to nearly original condition.
The interior was completely redone with tan upholstery, while
original was a Mustard color. It has the original stool to set
outside in the fold-down dining table. All glass was removed and
was reinstalled after restoration. The only glass that is not
original is the windshield. The body was solid prior to
restoration, with the exception of minor rust. The floor pans are
original with no rust; they had been undercoated from the factory
or dealer when new. All brake components are new, including the
vacuum booster and master cylinder. Front-end parts were replaced
as needed. The wheels were blasted and painted, and new tires were
installed. The crank-out windows were completely disassembled and
the aluminum framework was polished. All cabinetry is original with
some new piping. It has a fold-down canvas bunk and child canvas
bunk above the driver and passenger seats. The bus runs and drives
well, powered by a 1600cc 4-cylinder engine and a 4-speed manual
transmission.
