This Austin-Healey 3000 Mark II BN7 was the recipient of a complete
nut-and-bolt restoration done to a high level by a Healey-loving
engineer who was the longtime previous owner. This car was built to
be shown and driven and has been well-fettled since the completion
of the restoration. It's finished in a Colorado Red that exhibits a
great shine and quality and was applied to a rust-free body that
was well-prepped with great fits on the doors, panels and fenders.
The black interior features leather seating a full complement of
gauges and that center-shift Healey transmission. Under the hood is
the well-detailed, legendary Healey 6-cylinder engine that performs
well and is equipped with two sets of air cleaners with tri-carb
setup - the original Coopers and a set of small cones for easy use.
The 4-speed manual transmission carries an electric overdrive that
operates well. The brand-new chrome wire wheels were recently
installed and add to the great look of this two-seater. Underneath,
it's as clean as the rest of the car. Great chrome and trim further
demonstrate the attention to detail in this Healey, and the trunk
is correctly trimmed in black Armacord. This Healey carries its
original VIN tag and engine tag from Austin Healey and is true
two-seater tri-carb vehicle - one of 355 produced.
