Vehicle Description
In 2008, Mopar delighted speed lovers by producing the first of two
prototype V8 Dodge Challenger Drag Paks. These were the first
factory-prepped cars in 40 years to be specifically geared for drag
racing. The return of the Drag Pak car was a hit among racers, and
the 2009 program saw a sellout of all 100 factory-built vehicles.
This example is #011. This car has undergone a meticulous build
with the best available parts. Power comes from a Ray Barton
6.4-liter 660hp race HEMI engine with a 10.49 compression ratio and
an AEM Infinity programmable engine management system backed by a
904 3-speed automatic transmission with Cheetah 3-speed shifter
with line lock and ATI 8-inch 6300 RPM stall torque converter. This
Drag Pak is also equipped with a Dana 60 axle with 4.88 gear ratio,
dual 16-volt batteries and NHRA certified 6-point roll cage. **NOT
