Vehicle Description
Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we celebrate our 22nd year in the
classic and muscle car business. Tri-Five Chevrolets (1955-1957)
remain some of the coolest, most collected, and most modified
vehicles to roll down an American highway. As popular as these cars
are, there is a member of this classic family that doesn't get as
much recognition as the others; the stalwart Handyman Wagon. These
simple yet stylish wagons performed yeoman's work throughout the
ensuing decades, but are now just as likely to be seen at a car
show or in a collection. This gorgeous 1956 Chevrolet Handyman is
probably the nicest example that I have personally seen. Ready to
show or go, this beauty is powered by a well detailed 350 V8 that's
been fortified with a FiTech fuel injection system, an Edelbrock
aluminum intake manifold, ceramic coated headers, a Griffin HD
aluminum radiator, and MSD ignition. Additional features include
power rack and pinion steering, power 4-wheel disc brakes with
drilled and slotted rotors, power front windows, power driver's
seat, Vintage Air A/C with Front Runner system, 700R4 automatic
transmission, Currie 9 rear end, tubular front upper and lower
control arms, HD front stabilizer bar, four-link rear suspension
with coilovers, stunning leather and suede custom interior, tilt
steering column, and a Kenwood stereo. With outstanding paint,
trim, chrome, upholstery, headliner, and carpet, she's show-ready,
but the careful selection of premium components ensures an exciting
yet comfortable ride. Cooler than the other side of the pillow!
