For Sale: 1949 GMC 1/2 Ton Pickup in Sonoma, California

Vehicle Description

1949 GMC 100 1/2 Ton Pickup
Unique, Excellent Running Truck

1949 GMC 100 1/2 Ton Pickup for sale. This patina'd example originated in Oklahoma,
and was purchased by its current owner from Georgia a half dozen years ago.

Between 2014-2016 thousands of dollars were spent to ensure its drivability, including but not limited to the electrical, fuel system, braking, complete frontend rebuild, cooling system, and transmission (repair receipts available). The original 228 cubic inch inline 6 starts easily and runs great!

The truck's unique patina is 100% natural. The unique lettering and cargo add to its ambiance along with the fender-mounted horns. The scuffed-up whitewalls are so apropos we didn't want to clean them! Oh, and that cool Plymouth hood ornament actually illuminates! The Indian motorcycle graphics are pretty cool, too, along with the big, old visor. Its scruffy vibe is perfect!

Inside is about as old-school as it gets with its vinyl plaid seat cover, aging gold paintwork, big round shift ball, rubber mat, and original steering wheel and gauges. Please note that the horn is inoperable, and we're not sure of the accuracy of the fuel gauge. We'll look into this.

This is definitely an unusual old ride, perfect for anyone looking for a unique, classic GMC or Chevrolet pickup truck. Contact Donn with questions, shipping, and financing options. 707-332-8331.
