1910 Cadillac Gentleman's Roadster
Brass California Disneyland Parade Car
Very special 1910 Cadillac Parade Car for sale. This special antique Cadillac Model 30 was converted to a Gentleman's Roadster by the previous owners in 1954 then used in many events, including a special Disneyland parade on September 27th of 1958 where he said that Walt Disney himself took a ride in it! It includes the Disneyland parade map, vintage family photos with the car, and a clear California title. From what we understand, this special Cadillac has had only three owners over the last 110 years!
I first met this unique car in 2012 when we purchased it from the son of the man that built it. I promised to find it the perfect home for their family heirloom, and that I did when I sold it to our then 80-something-year-old antique automobile collector friend Warren, a well-known seasoned collector and loved character in our area. He put it in line right behind his current project at the time, the yellow 1910 Cadillac that we now also have available for sale. At this time, it is not currently running but is complete, a presentable example ready for an appreciative new owner to add to its very short owners list. It includes an original map of the Disneyland parade route hosted by the Horseless Carriage Club in 1958, photos of the family with the car dating back to the 1950's and a clean California title.
Having spent the last 65-70 years indoors, this rare Cadillac still wears its 1950's restoration well. The paint, interior, and brass should all polish up nicely. Someone will need to go through the mechanicals and get it running again after years of being in storage. The last time it ran was in the 1990s.
