A beautiful 1954 Pontiac Chieftain, 2 door sedan. Car starts, runs and drives great. The flathead straight eight 268 CID engine runs quiet. The Hydra-Matic automatic transmission shifts nicely. Beautiful clean, rust free sheet metal, frame, floors and trunk. Nice cream paint, with a high gloss shine. Nice original grey interior. Good chrome and trim all around, Good glass and windows roll up and down as they should.
Recently completed work includes fuel tank, fuel lines cleaned out, new fuel pump and rebuilt carburetor. New brakes all around including wheel cylinders and master cylinder. All fluids changed and gaskets replaced as needed. No leaks of any kind. New coolant hoses, water pump and thermostat. All electrical works including gages (fuel, water, oil, and battery), heater rebuilt and works fine. All lights work including headlights, turn signals, brakes, trunk and interior. New battery. Original 6 volt system. All wiring gone through, repaired and replaced as necessary. Beautiful detailed engine compartment and trunk.
