1962 Ford Galaxie 500 XL convertible. Just in from serious Ford
collection. Owner was getting too old to enjoy. Original surviver
with one excellent Red Lipstick correct refinish on no rust North
Carolina gem. Finish done in base coat/clear coat for that sharp
shiny look. Underside nice and dry. Detailed desirable stock 390/4
BL with very rare factory 4-speed and desirable power steering.
Motor, clutch, synchros all excellent. 120K miles, so only 2069
miles average per year. She was always garaged, maintained and
pampered. Outstanding correct red interior with desirable factory
bucket seat/console option. No cracks in dash, seats or arm rests.
Like-new working top, correct floor, console, straight body and
stainless and radial tires (drives great). Full tinted glass. Very
peppy with fun to drive 4-speed, yet good MPG with highway gears.
