1953 Mercury Monterey woody station wagon, sold new in LA
California, only 7,719 were produced in 1953, the car being stored
away in a hanger from 1959-2014 in LA. A moderate 350/350 turbo
transmission, was installed 8 months ago and has only 180 miles
since done. This Mercury wagon cruises down the highway very nice,
fully upgraded, rewired to 12-volt system, electronic ignition
system, all lights and gauges are in working order. The body and
undercarriage are rust free, had one repaint to the original color.
White over Asheville Green finished 3 years ago with new faux wood
side trim consisting of factory correct mahogany center, all new
chrome and stainless trim, tires and brakes. The interior seats and
headliner are all original and also has 3rd row seat which folds
down for plenty of room, the cargo bay is over7 feet long, needs
carpet, all windows roll up and down very nice, and all doors and
the tailgate open and close nice. Also comes with factory skirts
