Chevelle was released in 1964 as competition for Ford's mid-size
Fairlane, Chevy's intermediate became a sales success as well as a
fixture of American car culture. With tidier exterior dimensions
and almost as much interior room as Chevy's full-size Impala, the
Chevelle was similar in size to the classic 1955-1957 Chevrolets
and would quickly attain a comparable, cult-like following. Our
striking 1965 Chevelle Malibu Convertible is a fine example of
these beloved classics. Lift the scarlet hood and you'll find a 396
big block that's been fortified with Edelbrock E-Street aluminum
heads, an Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum intake manifold, a
Holley carburetor, an aluminum radiator, and MSD ignition.
Additional features include power steering, Wilwood 4-wheel disc
brakes with drilled and slotted rotors, power convertible top with
beautiful Haartz cloth fabric, 700R4 automatic transmission with
overdrive, air conditioning, upgraded tubular front upper and lower
control arms, upgraded rear upper (adjustable) and lower control
arms, heavy duty front and rear stabilizer bars, Coys wheels, tilt
steering column, and AM/FM radio. This crimson cruiser is an
