Vehicle Description
Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we celebrate our 22nd year in the
classic and muscle car business. Ford's 3rd generation Mustang
(1979-1993), commonly referred to as the Fox body, was the car that
brought performance back into fashion at Ford. Its predecessor, the
Mustang II (1974-1978), was a smaller and more efficient package
than previous 'Stangs and came along just in time for the energy
crisis of 1973/1974. And although the Mustang II sold well, by the
end of the '70's Ford fans and enthusiasts in general were ready
for more performance. Our clean 1993 Mustang LX Convertible is to
many enthusiasts the most desirable of the bunch, with the strong
5.0L HO V8 from the GT but without the flashy bodywork and
graphics. Our little silver ingot is loaded with features and
options including power steering, power front disc brakes, power
windows, power door locks, power top, power outside mirrors, air
conditioning (converted to R134A), 4-speed automatic transmission
with overdrive, 2.73 Traction-Lok rear axle, cruise control,
luggage rack, new tires (245/45ZR17 F, 275/40ZR17 R), and a Sony
sound system with integrated rear view camera. These cars have aged
well with their quality construction, subtle styling, and strong
acceleration which still impresses. Both Hemmings and Hagerty have
had these cars on their 'what-to-watch-for' lists recently,
suggesting that prices won't be coming down anytime soon. Also,
this is one of only 2,423 '93 Mustangs painted in Silver Clearcoat
Metallic. These little jewels have a large and enthusiastic
following, and a quick drive will demonstrate why. Street Dreams is
