California cruiser. Built in Los Angeles. It has some old school
custom features that really enhance this car.
EXTERIOR: This Club Victoria has a cool custom vibe. Overall
condition is very nice. If you're going to look close it is not
perfect. The body appears to be very straight and solid. The body
panels all fit flush and square. I did not see any rust or bubbles
but again if you look close there's a number of touch ups and
imperfections. The hood was louvered and any emblems were removed.
It has fender skirts and stainless trim on the quarters. The glass
is tinted. The chrome and trim on the car is like the paint, shows
very well-shiny and straight but it is probably original with
patina. I love the red gloss wheels with chrome lug nuts and new
radial white wall tires. It also has some exhaust dumps poking out
behind the front tires.
INTERIOR: Very nice looking interior. The seats have been redone
with correct reproduction upholstery- red with white stripes and
chrome details. The door panels match the upholstery. New red
carpet on the floor with a Locar shifter relocated to the floor. It
has new red seat belts front and back. An aftermarket cushioned
console with cup holders sits on the front seat. The dash area is
beautiful- the metal is painted real nice, lenses are clear, knobs
sparkle. It has a retro stereo fit right into the factory hole with
two speakers in the doors. 2 gauges mounted below the dash, I
noticed it has excellent oil pressure. It does need a
headliner.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT:The 292 V-8 was upgraded with 4 barrel
EdelbrocChrome. It runs smooth. Features include power steering and
power brakes. It is clean and proper looking. The valve covers and
air cleaner are new chrome.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Big solid original trunk with original mat. The
white wall tire is older but never been used and has a complete
jack assembly, it's all bolted down properly.
UNDERSIDE: Wow is it clean under here! The metal is spotless
original. Rust free original floors, inner rockers, lower inner
quarters. It was cleaned and sprayed black. The front end is clean.
Miscellaneous parts look recent including power steering control
valve, tie rods, shocks etc. Has gas shocks in back. Looking up at
the motor it is clean. Starter looks new, has correct canister fuel
pump. The Cruise-O-Matic trans looks fresh to. The driveshaft looks
new. The rear end looks like it's been apart, it's detailed. Has
original 3.00 tag on it. E-brake assembly looks complete. It has a
dual exhaust with straight pipes for that nostalgic raspy
sound.
This is a unique, cool looking car. Ready for cruisin!
