for purchase. This C20 is powered by a V8 and is mated to an
automatic transmission. The engine and transmission are both strong
and in good working condition.
The Stepside offered here has a few bumps and bruises but is still
very showable and performs well. It rides on 265/75R16 tires on
aftermarket wheels. It has power brakes, power steering, aluminum
radiator, headers and a Sunpro tachometer.
These first generation C/K series pickups introduced a new body
style of light pick-up truck that featured many firsts. Most
important of these were a drop-center ladder frame, allowing the
cab to sit lower, and independent front suspension, giving an
almost car-like ride in a truck. Gone were the days of the truck
just being a bench seat and a flat-bed for the farm. These trucks
provided the drivability the market was looking for and sales took
off. In the collector world, these trucks keep growing in
popularity as finding bodies still intact is becoming more and more
