Vehicle Description
This 1968 Chevrolet C10 really offers everything. It's a proper
pickup with a strong small block V8. It has a nice cruising nature
with an A/C interior and overdrive transmission. And oh yeah, you
can also impress everyone on-demand everywhere by dropping the air
bag adjustable suspension right to the ground.
This truck's distinction starts with the paint. The two-tone red
and black is laid out correctly with a red roof and the C10's trim
line dividing the lower half. Even the wheels are matching in red.
So you really notice this as they expertly tuck in under the
fenders when the adjustable suspension is at its lowest. The great
thing about an air ride suspension is that you get a great stance
when parked and also a proper and comfortable cruising height. So
this truck was made to be driven. It wasn't meant to be a trailer
queen and doesn't look like one either. But it still knows how to
impress with its details. Up front there are clear headlights and
the smooth billet grille matches the rest of the black body. The
rear has some added aggression with wide side exhaust tips and
flame covers over the clear taillights. And the snap-on tonneau
cover is there so you can choose whenever you want to show off the
suspension fabrication it takes to get a pickup to sit this
low.
The two-tone style continues inside. It's nicely intertwined with
the red taking the soft surfaces like the seat and dash pad, and
the black is on the metal and high-traffic areas like the
carpeting. The full package is built to be both stylish and
comfortable. That's why you have upgrades like the AM/FM/CD stereo
and cold-blowing Vintage Air air conditioning. There are even
sporty upgrades, like the Lecarra sport steering wheel (power
steering) and Lokar floor shifter. And we bet you'll love using the
remote switch box to dial-in your ideal stance.
Under the hood is a well-done power package. The dark inner walls
funnel your attention to the polished components on the V8. And the
touch of red on the air grabber and matching valve covers mean this
truck really carries its two-tone everywhere. When you look beyond
the style, you'll also like the substance. It's a 350 cubic-inch V8
upgraded with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock
intake, HEI distributor, and headers feeding the rumbling dual
exhaust pipes. It's a package you're going to want to show off
everywhere, and so this even has a four-speed automatic
transmission with overdrive.
This is an absolutely cool custom that is upgraded well beyond just
the cool air bag suspension. So if you're looking to turn some
heads, and stay comfortable while doing it, don't miss this C10.
