This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS Tribute has a mean triple-black style
and a strong crate V8 to back it up. But more than just a slick and
intimidating classic, this one also just seems to show off some
extra thoughtfulness, including an A/C interior.
The look of this coupe is absolutely striking. The black paint was
an upgrade later in life. We all know a quality application of
black isn't cheap, and the deep shine and luster this one gives off
tells you there was a big investment here. The chrome and
brightwork also have been done right with a shining presentation.
This has all the best Super Sport upgrades, like the cowl hood,
chin spoiler, full badging, full-length rear spoiler, and larger
15-inch Rally wheels. But more than the sporty side, the paint and
sheetmetal have a quality look that have a bit of a premium
feeling, too. And so it also goes for added distinction with
features like the black vinyl roof and cool D90 silver stripe
package.
The black paint, roof, and interior mean this one has been upgraded
to the ultra-desirable triple-black. This has a touch of the
premium feeling again with the deluxe door panels and wood-like
trim. Plus, it's the right kind of driver's classic with bucket
seats and a center console in-between. This one likes to keep a
very stock style in everything from the button-top seatbacks to the
Delco AM radio that's still there for display. But this was also
made to be enjoyed on the road, and so you have some well-placed
upgrades, like the auxiliary gauge trio and modern R134a air
conditioning.
Under the hood is a Year One Power Crate Motor. This fresher 350
cubic-inch V8 was already built to be a stout powerhouse, but it
now it inhales deeper with a Weber four-barrel carburetor. It
exhales with added power and authority as Hooker headers feed the
dual exhaust. And just like the rest of the build, this shows some
extra thoughtfulness with good supporting components like the MSD
distributor and big aluminum radiator with thermostat controlled
electric fan. The result is a strong-running coupe that's great for
driving. There are even good anytime features like a three-speed
automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, and front
discs.
This is a mean-looking Camaro with a ton of nice features. So you
know you're going to love having it in your garage. Call
