Vehicle Description
The 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle is an icon. So to have a Super Sport
tribute with proper 396 big block power is always desirable. And
the color combo on this one is attractively distinct and
coordinated inside and out.
Nothing but red and black is exactly how you want a muscle car to
look. Those are the two most aggressive colors, so it's awesome to
have them both. The upgraded fiery paint is part of a later
respray, which means a modern clearcoat shine every time you take
this out for a Sunday cruise. And the chrome bumpers shine even
brighter to really make this one pop. The black SS stripes are
painted on, and it goes with the upgraded SS blacked-out grille and
premium black vinyl top. Even the rear window has blackout tint to
gives this a well-coordinated total look. The overall presentation
is a car that was made to be a driver, and so none of it will make
you too nervous to enjoy this one on a whim. After all, a Super
Sport style car's best trick is the intimidation it brings to the
streets. Dual power bulges in the hood, mag wheels, and large dual
exhaust tips are all about announcing a true classic muscle
car.
The red with black accenting color theme of the exterior continues
inside, too. It's a distinctive look made even more impressive by
the fact that the trim tag tells us it was born this way. This even
has nice vintage details, right down to the white piping on the
seats and included owner's manual. We also like that that the
interior continues the feeling of a driver's car. Front bucket
seats, a center console, horseshoe shifter, a classic/grippy SS
steering wheel, and upgraded auxiliary gauge trio all come together
to make this feel ready to hit the streets.
A tribute to the SS396 needs a proper big block heart. So this has
an era-correct 396 cubic-inch V8 under the hood. It goes further
than even Chevy did for power with performance upgrades like a
Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Performer intake, and MSD
6AL ignition. And those long tube headers add even more muscle
while also contributing to the rumble of the X-pipe dual exhaust.
Because this was meant to be enjoyed out on the streets, there are
also great anytime driving features, like a three-speed automatic
transmission, power steering, power brakes w/discs up front, and
wide BF Goodrich T/A tires.
This has the iconic Chevelle SS style, true big block power, and a
very cool color combo. There's even room in this one to really
personalize it the way you want. So if you want a truly distinct
muscle car, call today!
