The TXII was manufactured by London Taxis International from 2002 to 2007. These models were made to North American specification and comply with US and Canada regulations. This North American spec Taxi is a left-hand drive version of the same “London Executive Sedan” one would hail in and around London itself.
The TXII is fitted with its working Taxi fare light, wheelchair access ramp, spacious passenger compartment with three bench seats facing two jump seats, independent front and rear Hvac system, single seat driver compartment and sliding partition window.
This rare North American spec London Taxi was originally sold to its first owner in Missouri and always well maintained. It remained in Missouri until 2016 when it was purchased by its next custodian in New Hampshire a good client and friend of Autosport Designs. It has since been housed within his extensive collection and is a welcomed change to the routine of driving many of the collection’s sports cars. Always maintained regardless of use, this London Taxi is comfortable and dialed in for around-town or highway cruising. Rare to see on this side of the pond, we are proud to have taken a piece of London automotive history on trade and look forward to giving it another welcoming new and loving home for its future. It includes its original owner’s manuals, jack and spare wheel.
